It is far too early and unreasonable to conclude that the Muchinga Province team is relegated even before the season starts. The team fared very well against big teams last season and I think they compete now and push their lucky. But of course the issue of distance is one thing that the association needs to look into and help the team. It also gives an opportunity for the national team coach to explore more areas in the country to pick players because honestly players are not only in Lusaka and Copperbelt.
Real Nakonde did extremely well and the teams that participated in that zone were very strong. Prison Leopards, Chindwin Sentries and even Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy were strong.
Real Nakonde managed to travel to the Copperbelt several times last year and got decent results.
Their meltdown was because players left the team in the second round and it was difficult for team to compete hence forth after that. Travelling am sure most of the fixtures will be rescheduled to accommodate Real Nakonde. They could travel to Choma on a Saturday and consider playing Namkambala in midweek before playing their away game in Lusaka against Nkwazi.
That's one way Real Nakonde could be assisted. The thought of having a team in Muchinga province playing super league is interesting and there will always be a starting point.
